I am looking for material for a gaff sail. around 175 quarefeet.

    boom 13 1/2
    luff 9 1/2
    gaff 13 1/2
    gaff angle 45 degrees

I don't want to use canvas but a more modern rot/UV resistant material. Does anyone have resources, tips or a simple answer for this? What would be a "normal" weight for recreational sailing?

    Thanks

Normal weight for all-purpose might be 5-6 oz., material, dacron.
