Hi Guys am newb from Australia and am wanting to fit a fuel tank for an outboard 110mm x 500mm x 2400mm between the stringers in the Hartley cruiser i'm restoring . Is the depth to shallow or does it depend on breather location etc Thanks

really mate, you will get a lot of fuel surge, unless you fit lots off baffles, I would put baffles every 600mm(2 feet) then you shoudl be okey dokey,. if you could tilt the tank down a lil aft would help, dont forget a decent water trap filter:))

Thanks guys am getting a tank made and hoped there wasn't any obvious problems with such a long design . Have so little depth would have to put the vent and filler on the centre console which is no drama .
    Thanks Garfy
