    Arlon "Got Panga?"

The ratio of the eduardono is 4.3:1. , that's narrow, maybe not skinny if skinny is greater than or equal to 6:1 L:W ratio. My panga is 3.6:1 and most would consider it "narrow" for a 27ft center console. Maybe not skinny but then it's a 27ft fishing boat. I think the 6:1 ratio would also be more applicable to displacement hulls than planing hulls. The narrow panga takes advantage of a RELATIVELY (relative to other fisihng boats in it's price range) large L:W ratio as well as flat bottom aft for easier planing and light weight. It was designed with few criteria in mind. Seaworthyness, load carrying capacity and economy of building and running. Panga does seem to meet the requirements of the original poster as they where stated.
