    Hi,

Can anyone help with "front section has semi-elliptic plan and exponential profile, while the rear section has exponential plan and semi-elliptic profile". It’s the shape that complies with the "(Multi)Hull Resistance Calculator - based on the equations and formulae in chapter 3 of "21st Century Multihulls" by Joseph Norwood Jr."

A drawing would make it clearly perceptible, thanks...

The quote describes a shape that is backwards from every other boat I've seen. Norwood's boat would have a blunt bow, sharp stern, and a rocker that sloped down gently from the bow, then turned up abruptly at the stern.

I think I'd rather base my resistance calculations (and design) on Michlet than Norwood's formulae.
