From plug to mold

    This shows what I did;

    Stick frame and battens on strongback, then line with 3mm sign writing foam.

    Test fit the kerf cut core cell in the mold.

    - I painted the white foam blue so that it was easier to see any air bubbles that might need working out when I layed the skin coat. The skin coat enabled me to acheive vacuum integrity on the mold side as it was difficult to seal the joins in the foam board. After that, setup the infusion and bag it;

    No smoke, no mirrors, just quick and easy backyard boat building...
