    Hello everyone:

I want to make a 3-D ship model in Patran. The original material I have is the lines plan. How can I operate it?

Would you please send me some detailed examples if possible?

I think the best and least time-consuming solution is to make a 3D model with one of so many 3D-modeling software around, and then to export the model to Patran in ACIS or IGES format.
Freeship, for example, can export in IGES format: http://hydronship.net/index.php?lang=en

    Cheers
