All those that want to fill up their boats with batteries, hydrogen converters, singularity machine, plasma reactors, windmill driving propellers, please stay away from my boat when you catch on fire or sink. And if run out of batteries, I will charge you to tow you.

Hydrogen is more of a battery than a source of energy. yes there is plenty of water around but water is not same as water and hydrogen - same as carbon dioxide is not same as carbon and oxygen.

You can create hydrogen from water but it takes energy then you can burn it back to water to recover some of that energy. of course they will charge for the hydrogen as they need to use coal powered powerplants to create it in the 1st place.

IF one could recover more energy from burning the hydrogen than it takes to create it we would be golden. Burning it in a combustion engine would be pretty dumb though. And yes there are plenty of countries and companies that would do this on their own if it was true.

As hydrogen is just a form of a battery I don't put much hope in it. General battery research seems more promising and the rest of the technology for distribution and utilizing electricity is much more mature and versatile.

Put a note in some of your papers and ask for a developer to fund a free energy source you discovered. See how long it takes the grey coats to pitch up at your door. Most certainly you will hear the words 'it is a matter of national security...'

Methinks the folks that visit will be wearing WHITE COATS , and the local Looney Bin is more likely than the firing squad, or Gulag..

If you were selling the Brooklyn Bridge , folks in uniform would also show up, the CON SQUAD.

The folks I enjoy the most are the "enviromentalists" with battery powered cars ,

there actually running on their most hated power, COAL! (or NUKE) from the base load.

Free fuel is one thing. Technology is improving towards better efficiency and cleaner fuels. You can invest in a brand you engine, meaning you can take advantage of being up to date. Or you can improve the fuel efficiency of your current engine by regular checks and self servicing.

Taking those two points, people get more from their passion for boating by working with their current engine to lower bills and improve performance.

Boat engines work a lot harder than cars for example and they also produce more pollution. http://boatpride.com/boat-engines-and-sailboat-hardware/marine-engines.html for details on aiding efficiency

Nah, I do´nt belive that! There is a bloody trick. My computer is electric, something makes these wheels turning (maybe a program?).

If we can just attach Yipsters wheels to a propeller shaft we can make the boat go, simply by nodding our heads. That will be the latest novel way of rowing. Rock guitarists and hip hop dancers are capable of extreme head movements. They might be able to make the boat plane.

Must I sacrifice my notebook for that project? I doubt it will work without.

Ahh, life became so hard recently. and begging in the roads is´nt the same fun it was.

    head bangers unite for momentum

    Ah thats a great whee eye trick --- I think ! ? --- spooky .
Of coarse [ or is that off corse ] if the entire crew were to nod in unison , fast and hard forward , stopping rapidly, then slowly back so as to not upset the forward momentum gained when the united head mass transfered their inertia through to the hull and surged the vessel forward , add nausium
I am sure that'd work , well as good as power gained from Yipsters gears ;)

"hmbrotflol" or how do we write "holding my belly rolling on the floor laughing out loud"

but seriously; hydrogen does hold 3 times the energy of regular

    "ooching"

So true incredibly fast Fred , once again you live up to your name .
I suspect a few may not realise how it got it's name though ! .
It was banned here too as it proved to be far too dangerous in the confined cockpits as not all sailors share the required timeing and inevidably some uncool , albeit otherwise good sailor, guy would get out of time with the brethern and smack his fat head into someones face , which in turn caused that guy to throw his head back out of time etc !!!

All that could be heard for some time afterward was ooooooouuuuuuchhhhhh
    ouch owwwwwwwtchhhh owch outch etc:D

I agree , lots and lots of energy [ H2O ] in water , in fact, if what we see is a fact and not as many would and do believe a contradiction of the laws of whatever then your litre has the energy to power a car @80kph for one hour , I do believe was the claim .
Personally Id say it was " Thermolysis " but young Metcalf was onto it when he talked of the big ball of burning Hydrogen .
Imagine, if, rather than "use all those batterys " to split the water, they had a thermo nuclear generator -- concentrator that could zap the water !! , yeah, yeah then you'd be doubly amazed .

best bit is the sun is also free like the rain .

Fast-idiuos Fred, you can't have it both ways ! . If free energy were to become available the wheels would fall off all we know , yes/no !?.
So, to quote you, it would be out there as quick as lightning [ paraphrased] should someone discover it ---- Yet ----- when this Japanese company says their car runs on water, and nothing else [being the only thing consumed- even though it needs must use a battery or two to get the components out of the water] you don't buy it !.
No one said it was perpetual motion , it's not free energy - in that it requires energy to fire it up in the form [ rumor has it ] of batterys and then , once it's producing the gas, it uses it up!! , consumes , if you will, the " energy" gained drives the car, but it still has to fill up -- so the cycle does not , as they say, perpetuate it's self .
So what law were you talking about and what's it's relavance here ?

[ Non disclaimer -- I have not driven this car, nor seen it filled up with and run soley on water ! ---- LOL ----- I have Faith however !]
[plus it makes sence to me , right Yipster baby ? - this is where you come in]
I rather suspect reaction to this post will be why you haven't commented Mr Yipster !, you are a smart cookie ;)
