Sean Herron has not been around for quite some time so, damnit, someone has to do the dirty job, right? ;)

This is the main story (and probably the most-viewed ever) from todays' S.A. website:

Since I'm sure many of you are interested to see the design of this sea-going cat in more detail, here is a bigger picture from Sailing Anarchy's Facebook page:

Please note the unusual shape of the steering wheel, a good disposition of winches and also a very intelligent placement of the fishing rod.
If I failed to notice some other interesting detail, please let me know.

Life is good and sailing is beautiful. Wish a nice weekend to all of you!

Well, lets see. A foil creates lift, right? Enough said.........And thanks for the inspiration.

    470 from Dinghy "Anarchy"

In keeping with the theme, here is a super 470 being auctioned for charity-it's a hell of a boat-always have loved the lines of this boat:

Only a rank novice, obviously listening to the photographer's equally amateurish suggestions, would hike out like that, on a day where the air can't even straighten out the vang. Besides, I'm sure her mom will explain how aggressive hiking can cause cellulite.

I doubt the boat is even moving. The bow is probably being held in place by someone at the dock.

There is a leg of someone wearing a jeans visible in the right corner of the Doug's photo, holding the dinghy upright. So perhaps it wasn't quite a warm period of the year - poor girl. :)

I'm not a sailor but I think we need to see more before judging it. A little further, please :D :D :D If the first shot is a typical sailing trip, I can see the appeal :D
