Free Boat plans

I want to build my own sailboat and I was wondering if anyone know of a free or cheap plan for a 10' boat.

In general, there is a lot of stuff out there but sorting through it all is a pain and it may not be what you want. It's a lot easier to buy what you want, try this site;

before you commit to a design, be sure you understand the implications of its construction. Stitch and glue plywood construction for example is probably the most common and is quick and easy, at the other extreme there are many methods that demand professional skill and equpment.

Have a look at Bateau.com - the "D4" I think it was has been popular for years and years. They have a free plan for a similar boat anyway.
