free autopilot design

    This may be useful to people building their own autopilots. I have built a working autopilot which can steer straighter than my monitor wind vane, and uses 2-3 watts of power in 15 knots of wind running wing and wing. The cost to build is well below $100.

    Looking for feedback for my free autopilot!

    What are you using to drive the rudder? I'll definitely check out the code though as looks interesting and keen to try something like that out

    Looks interesting, but how practical is to assemble for someone without a degree in programming or machine control? What components are used? Where were they sourced?
