This could be true. I am in fact failing to see any humoristic message in that photo.

So do you think its funny then?

I don't think humour was considered, It a Christmas card from the gun club.

Quite sickening in fact in a subliminal attempt to associate children and Christmas with guns to de sensitize the horror of civilian ownership of automatic military weapons. .

At the core of the polemic of gun control in America is the concepts of "rapid fire" and "assault rifle". Neither has been defined legally, so the whole discussion about them doesn't really make sense. "Assault rifle" was a marketing name used by gun manufacturers in the same way as "motorsailor" was used by boat manufacturers. It was just a ploy to sell rifles dressed up to look like Rambo designed them.

How things are developing are there have been nearly 1000 more deaths by guns since the last major event and more losers are considering hosting their own event.

Yes we know that. So that grown up children could play Rambo?

Just like the Christmas card and the guy with his kid and dog and the pervert in his underpants.

    It is exactly that,---- Rambo.

Yup...you hit the nail on its head. Guns keep kids from gowing up.

guns are the leading cause of death for young black men between 12 and 19 years old

That's because a relative handful of them, compared to the number of law-abiding blacks in the country, are shooting each other while engaged in criminal behavior.

We need to find ways to address the problem. But taking guns away from everyone else in the country is hardly the answer.... it's just a knee-jerk 'DO SOMETHING' response. If the government confiscated every gun and every round of ammunition I own, along with those owned by my friends, neighbors, co-workers and family, it wouldn't stop a single gang-related drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.

It's like New York's new law banning 'assault weapons,' which outlaws a whole class of rifles based mostly on cosmetic features. It's a ridiculous gesture, because out of the 400+ murders committed in New York last last year, exactly five were committed with rifles. So what has the law accomplished, besides giving anti-gun freaks a thrill? It certainly hasn't made the streets of New York any safer.

Enjoy yourselves until the thread gets locked.... I'm done with it.

I guess the aim of the new US anti-assault weapons law is to make the next mass-murder less likely and more difficult. It is much easier to kill 10-20 or 50 people with an assault rifle than with a handgun. At least that should be obvious.
