Ok,while obviously epoxy is the way to go,BUT,polyester does stick to plywood and is what was used for tabbing in bulkheads etc in tens, if not hundreds of thousands of the older stick built production glass boats throughout the world,in fact i have never in my 35yrs or so in the trade seen a factory built boat where they used epoxy to tab structure in and in most cases of faliure it can be attributed to poor maintainence,ie,the bottom of bulkheads never rot out unless some ***** owner allows water to lay there deep enough to be above the glass tabbing for extended periods of time. That said,epoxy is just so much better it makes no sense to use polyester for tabbing anything in, if cost is your reason to want to use polyester you dont need to use the big name brands,there are plenty of smaller names which work as well for less $$ such as Raka,progressive etc.
