Sadly, male lines of descent are not terribly reliable, there are many 'black sheep' in the flock. The saying " it is a wise child who knows who his father is " comes to mind. And is strongly supported by the modern finding that 15% of the population has a different daddy to that named in the birth certificate, which has been discovered from tissue matching for transplants and the like. Unfortunate, and the cause of much grief I'd imagine.

We ALL have ancestry from Spain India Arab and chinese and the battle of Hastings ---its what our GGGGrand fathers did.

But they don't come more English than me. My surname surprises a lot of people infact I have more right to the throne than the Queen or Prince Charles does.

In my opinion, you need to go beyond not teaching racism and actively teach the opposite. Sure, it's part of human nature, but so are other things that most people overcome.
