Boat looks loaded heavy. Were you camping? Your hull shape. Could it have more reserve for loading? Or are you happy where it is?

Heavy, fully loaded for a few days cruising, I could easily load a nother 100, probably 120 kg. We were sailing back from Romania, she can go far...
I wish I had a little more loading capacity... It's enough for now, I have realized that, it's very tricky to design a fast hull, yet still have load carrying capacity....

I’ve had lots of fun with my boat and loads, so I’m keen to these issues.

I think you can design a wider section above your normal waterline or even a knuckle that is automatically say 3” more width, etc.

My problem is that I must learn how to reduce weight. The rig is very heavy, probably a Crab Claw of this size will weigh 30 kg less!
My leepod is a touch oversize, my rudders could be lighter... I'm o.k. with the space, the displacement is not enough.
Solutions are loose weight, widen the Vaka, or extend it.... Maybe I will attempt to loose weight, for now I'm a little tired of boatbuilding, time to go cruising.
The world has totally flipped, so I'm going cruising as is.
    A knuckle wont help...
