    Designing one or buying one?
    Dry, wet, or submerged?
    Deck or bulkhead?
    Easy access or fastened down?
Size... i.e. handhole or pulling the GE LM2500 GT?
    Lots of considerations.....

I’m staring intently into my crystal ball, and there’s nothing there!

Flush Hatch. My wife insists I lower it when done.

As for quality, price, material and experience, I am reminded of a famous quote from one of our former members here:
"How long is a piece of string?"
    -PAR

    Did you plug it in?

Its the internet, so wild speculation is the name of the game...

My favorite one was my last one. A 20x20 Freeman cast aluminum hatch with internal wheel for my engine room. Opens from both sides, invades the space a fair bit.... they are a bit proud of them. With ring, we figure its near 27$ a pound....
