    I agree so what !!

    Heres another silly thought !!
why not make it the same as a plywood boat?? but use glass strips instead of ply ?? By using light weight triaxal (90 45/45/) a 900 gram uni matt that has light weight csm to hold it together and a further triaxle (90/45/45) on the otherside . !! The uni glass has enormous strength and the planks you could vertually tied in knots without them breaking !!
The 90/45/45 triaxle will hold the uni dead flat !!
The joining detail i have just had a brilliant thought of what just might work !!!! its easy and very simple , will have to work it in my head for a hour and then do some exsperimenting of my own !!Take pictures and post them for you !!
Joining together there are some pretty good flexable adhesives and or USE KEVLAR CLOTH outside and inside but that adding to much weight !! mmmmmmmm! Will spend some time on my other idea ! :D

Sorry i am a glass person and thats my problem !! :(

you need only to change 10 percent of the original design to make it legal in any court in the world.youll need two molds one for the hull one for the top the tricky part will be to bond the two halves together after being built, not much room for lamination inside and to bond together on the outside would be a gel finishers nitemare from hell.lmao
