Change of plans

    At first I looked at building in steel but I lack the welding skill to do the job.The only viable option would be to hire a welder.If I do that then I have not built the boat.It wont be of steel.
    Because this will be my home and not just my boat it must be of a material that will outlast me and be tough enough to survive 25-30 years in tropical water.It seems to me that the only option is a fiberglass plywood combination.It will be faster and more fun.
    And now a whole new batch of questions:D
    Parallam,has anyone used it for a keel:?:
