Saving older wooden hulls

    My company is looking for an older wooden powerboat hull (30' or larger) that is in need of repair in the Tampa/St.Pete area. We are relaunching a material that has been used successfully to strengthen and salvage older wooden hulls.

    We are doing both a sailing hull and a power hull. The sailing hull is a 1930 55' ketch. This project is currently scheduled to begin in January of 2005.

    We would like to find a suitable power hull for the same time period.

    We are willing to provide the materials at cost in exchange for marketing rights to use photos and testimonials of the finished hull.

    This is a much better solution than simply wrapping the hull with a fiberglass skin.
