    Ad Hoc Naval Architect

    I've just been sent the usual USCG email circular, but this time it is regarding a job. I'm not a US citizen, but im sure many out there are and may consider this position.

    MARINE INSPECTOR

    Responsibilities:
    • U.S. and Foreign Vessel compliance review and inspection
    • Providing reports and evaluations
    • Training for civilian and military Marine Inspectors

    Requirements:

    U.S. Citizenship

    Good physical competence, hearing and sight

    Understanding of the laws and regulations relating to vessel, port, and pollution prevention.

    Knowledge of classification society rules, standards of industry and professional engineering societies.

    Knowledge in marine engineering, welding, testing, and safety.
