Feedback on preliminary sketches

I've returned to the drawing board to plan my next, slightly larger build after a relatively successful first boat.
I have a very confused sketch, that like most will not be feasible in reality. So, in the process of erasure and re drawing I've decided to seek advice to help me find my final draft and start my plans.
I have drawn great inspiration from snekkes and other nordic fishing boats, though my intended use would be far different, therefore a double ender of this size I believe is out of the picture. Intended size is 18ft long and 7 feet wide. I'm hoping first and foremost to troll okanagan lake in the colder months for trout, and possibly the very odd trip to bowen island to troll salmon . Secondly I'd like a boat that I could jump off of in the summer, and it be stable enough to climb back in on a ladder off the side. I have no need for speed, and it would be ideal to find a motor that I can both troll and cruise with. I have (barely) drawn an outboard in a recess in the slightly curved transom, though I am very undecided on the transom and outboard entirely. Thirdly i would like a boat that could sleep two, so would be squeezing in a v berth if possible. Where I have drawn the person is where I would like to pilot from, to be close to the rods, so I may completely minimize interior comforts along with downsizing the cabin.
The largest boat I've operated is a 14.5 foot tiller steer open boat, so my very preliminary drawing is pure fantasy. Would appreciate and hear any feedback.
Still deciding between ply on frame and stitch and glue. My first build was stitch and glue by eye, on the fly, and though fun, I would like to put a lot more thought into this. Thanks. Drawings

Maybe a boat like the Saga 20 would be suitable for what you have in mind?

Both are exactly what I have in mind. Perhaps I will end up building a someone else's plans. But as my build is a year or two away and im stuck in an apartment for a while, I gotta find a way to pass the time.
I never found the saga in my searches, looks fantastic. As for the fidler, I have been tempted once or twice to get the plans. Perhaps it is in order for study purposes.
