fast, beachable 40ft monohull designs - suggestions?

    The Bruce Kirby 43 might have been designed with your brief in mind. One has been built by Sea Island Boatworks in Charleston, SC. I've seen this boat and it is impressive. Sits level when beached and is a ketch rig with B&R mast rig. http://www.nisboats.com/mainpages/nis43.html

    if "tincans" ;) are an option as well - there are quite some boats out there fulfilling most of your criterias... some of them might not be considered an ULDB though...

    all of the above mentuined boats feature lifting keel, double rudder, are not what you could call heavy and could be laid on the beach... but are made from aluminum...
