stereo pod is now flowcoated over. i went with white flowcoat in the end so it would match the dash.

stereo and speakers all wires up and fitted. sounds great.

the underside of the bait table has now been flowcoated in grey to match the inside of the boat.

im going to get some rubber edge trimming to fit around the bottom edge of the bait table to tidy it up.

    thanks mate.

have not had much chance to do anything on the boat lately due to being busy with other grp jobs.

i have got some rubber edge trim fitted round the wheelhouse roof and around the bait table.

i will also fit the rubber edge trim around the inside of the gunnels too when i get some more.

That what i did for my numberplate and tail light board across the boat i never even unplug it just lift up and out and all the wiring etc and the board goes straight into the boot of my car. Takes 5 second to replace back on the boat !!

Didnt get to go fishing had to many things to do . but did get a good run in the boat . One touch of the switch and again after 12months started straight away!! went for a good run and a few fast places 6400 on the tacho and absolutly flying over the harbour chop and just touching the tops of the chop!! , was such a good a feeling !!
    I love yamaha's specially vee 4s :D:p:p!!!!

glad you got to use your boat at last mate.

mines getting closer now but at the moment we got heavy snow and im stuck in doors so no work on the boat today.

next on my list is getting the stainless rails made but im being quoted silly prices which i can't afford for 4 rails.

not much to update really as been busy working on other boats for people.

i have fitted the fuel tank sender in to the stainless tank , wired in a 12v lighter socket on the dash for charging my mobile phone or to power a spot light etc.

the handrails for the boat have now been made and i am collecting them tomorrow morning.

i will have to polish the welds up on the rails as i needed to keep the costs down so that i could afford to have them made.

hoping to have them fitted before the weekend. if not they will be fitted saturday.

well the boat is getting closer to being finished now.

i have now installed AIS radar.

i have put some fuel in the tank to see if the new gauge and sender works and its all spot on.

all i have left to do is mount radar reflector , fit twin horns , fit spot light , polish the rails , couple small hand rails on sides of wheelhouse and get a spare anchor , chain and rope.

then it will need a good clean up ready for sea trials.

not been on for a while as i've been busy working on other boats.

the boat is almost finished now.

just got to re fit the fuel tank and flowcoat out the compartment and the boat should be finished.

i got my rear platform to gunnel grab rails back yesterday and had to get them fitted asap.

i reckon they finish off the back end a treat.

not been on in a while.

boat is pretty much finished now apart from fitting some 90hp carbs when they turn up to turn my 75 in to a 90.

have had the boat out on the water and it recorded 28.9 knots with the 75 and cruised at 21 knots at 4000rpm.

had a little problem with the engine as it started to misfire which turned out to be number 2 coil lead had worked loose from the coil pack.

heres a link to a short video of the boat on the water.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PhG0jeQLCY

once the new carbs turn up i'll have them stripped and cleaned up and hopefully they will help get me over 30 knots and with a better cruise speed.
