    My client is a world leader in the construction of convertible sport fishing and luxury motor yachts. They are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer . A BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience is highly desired. Problem solving skills, strong interpersonal and team skills with excellent written/verbal communication abilities, CAD literate (ProE desired), and a knowledge of ABYC Standards are preferred.

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Define requirements and component specifications for panels, wiring harnesses, and electrical systems. Insure and/or acquire component and systems compliance with industry standards.

    • Conceives new electrical and electronic systems designs for customer convenience, reliability, competitiveness, and production plans for labor efficiencies.

    • Research and integrate new equipment designs as industry trends allow. Create and/or upgrade system interfaces for master caution, system readiness, trouble-shooting, and related systems.

    • Interface with project groups for systems and electrical requirements as needed for project time lines and cost issues. Review and approve load calcualtions based on ABYC standards for AC electrical systems.

    • Interface with manufacturing for trouble-shooting, component location, as well as with purchaisng for component specifiactions. Attend ABYC electrical project technical committees, and perform final electrical verification tests.
