My son is doing a project and getting an error. It says, 'stitching error, invalid body'.

He is trying to stitch dev panels for a hull.

I have asked him to get a login on boatdesign.net. Thanks for any replies.

Funny I had that error yesterday. In my case there was a tiny sliver of a curved surface not trimmed so the vertices didn't align and would form a T junction where three surfaces would meet in a line. So try to find the surface that gives you trouble and then double check (or triple check haha).

BTW for developable surfaces Fusion 360 has an inspection tool that shows gaussian curvature. And you can unwrap with meshmixer but I haven't tried that yet.
