Has anyone used this idea (VSV, wave piercing bow) for a sail boat? Every sailboat I've ever been on pierced them anyway, might as well design for it!

    I see your point.

There is an around the world boat thread using a similar technology, can't find the thread right now.

Mate, if you are serious about this you have to spend more time on boats. Then before you start with the techlonogical side of things try looking at the aesthetic side of the design along with the functionality, there is more to yacht interior design than computer software.

When did I ask for software? I asked for files and images for use with AutoCad if possible.

I've been designing buildings for over 20 years, and all the time been having fun with various designs; boats, cars, trucks, hovercraft, aircraft are all a creative outlets for me. Drawings and models mostly, sometimes full scale experiments on my small hovercraft. The actual tools (including sofware) are a very small part of the human experience I call design.

Pity that airlines don't seem to think the same, the legroom and seat width has got less since 1962 ...

I read recently that one airline was proposing to transport people standing up in a special harness.
