My friend and I are just about finishing our first homemade boat. It is a 10' flat bottom sailboat (constructed mainly of non-marine plywood). We might waterproof it with some epoxy. Is there a certain type of epoxy you suggest to use?

Interprotect is 50% solvent (approx.) not what I would call cheap.
Any name brand neat epoxy,West,system3 etc.,paint inside and out
scrub off if blushing, abraid and paint over with good house paint to protect from UV.( Or just paint with a good house paint and keep it out of weather & flag the epoxy)
This guy is GOOD! Read up.

Might pay to tape the seams if you haven't already.

I just read something on another thread here that basically says if you're using cheap (non-marine) ply you might be better off painting it.

Read the discussions on the threads called
Newbie here with newbie question. Marine plywood or plywood?
    and
    Cheap!!
They both have some useful comments
