energy recovery while sailing

    Alan Bond, yes, the one who wrested the America's cup so long ago, at about that time built a replica of "The Endeavour", (a little smaller and a style/design from a hundred years earlier), which eventually cost several millions way back then...

    I think you need, as Par suggested, a professional design team and LOTS and LOTS of money...

    Do not compromise things with silly technology for the sake of technology... it will need a large crew and a decent refrigeration and galley (commercial) FIRST, also crew needs - sleeping and living accommodation, ablutions, food storage and galley facilities for a mixed gender crew...

    Basic reliable seaworthiness and the necessities of shipboard life, will determine what else is possible to consider after meeting those NEEDS ...
