I know there is alot on this site about my topic, but Im still searching for answers...

    I own a 1993 Starcrafte Elite 171
    Engine: 3.0L, inline 4cyl.

    1) Is it even possible to put a 4.3L in this boat?
    2) Are there weight restrictions?
    3) I might get more power, but would weight be an issue to not notice the power?
    4) How difficult is the swap and is their a step-by-step site on how to do this?

Thanks guys, really appreciate your expert advice!

The 4.3 is shorter and wider than the 3.0. You need to put a Y exhaust pipe. Also, the gear ratio should be 1.65 instead of 1.85 or 1.90. Do you know if the boat is rated for the extra power?
