    Hi,
We are an electric motor manufacturer, offering marine electric propulsion systems.
This is one of our latest projects, a full electric boat (2x 12kW).

This Boat is in serial production and by now we have 8 of them on the water.
The boat is operating in Balaton lake, where diesel engines are not allowed.

The shipbuilder decided that solar panels are not needed because the battery of the ship is calculated for 14 hours autonomy, which is enough for every hobby user on the lake.

And like pistnbroke said, it is 24KW, and the solar panels would not contribute a lot.

Well Michael, we are discussing with Piculjan about their boats becoming fully electric boats.
So when you grow up, have the money ready! :)

    24000 รท 60 = 400 solar panels

    40 X 10 might be one approach
