    Hello all.

A quick question, but one that I suspect will have a long answer.

I am thinking of building something like a fixed Kort nozzle to go around a prop. However, I am not sure of the pressures that the tube making up the nozzle will be exposed to.

Obviously an amount of water - x - which would have travelled outwards will now hit the kort nozzle and head directly sternwards instead. But I am not sure how to calculate how much pressure that nozzle will be subjected to.

I'm guessing that water volume, rpm and twist on the blades will play a factor, but I can't find the equations.

    Any help greatfully recieved

    Steve
