    can you post some pictures or drawings of an "eddy cone or plate"?
    I have seen some devices installed below propellors, above rudders, and in front of struts, always wondered what they were called, and what, if anything, they accomplished.

    I have copied this drawing from and Indian State tender document as you can see. if there might be problem. They should have banned Indian Navy to use their drawing for public purposes.

    AsI understood this plate or conic are used for preventing turbulence in front of the propeller. Eddy plate placed a little bit through fore as you can see on the drawing. Not named on the drawing.
