    A shocking, sad loss. Huge gap left in our little world, and a gaping chasm in the world of classic yachts. I'm very sorry to hear this.

    I can find no confirmation of his death but if so I am horrified, what a talented, talented man and his loss will be felt greatly.

    Details about his death are yet hard to come by, but it appears he's taken his own life. A short end to a fine eye . . .
