Jushi glass fabrics

Hello All,

I would like to ask you about your experience and opinion about Jushi glass?
I was using it in the past and I remember that quality was low, the glass was hard to cut and was printing a lot through gelcoat than its alternative glass.

 

Jushi is a major suppler, and makes good products. It’s been a long time since they were considered an inferior product.

It comes down to the exact type of glass you’re looking for and where you live as to what other products are available. Smaller suppliers may be able to provide a product that better meets your needs if you have specific requirements.

Print is a result of the resin shrinking. While certain types of glass (woven-stitched) do print differently, it still comes back to the resin choice.

 

Jushi is fine.

Print through, easiest solution? Stop using woven roving, except behind coring. Most US manufacturers use 0/90 3610 material for hulls, typically mixed with some +/- 45 1708 in some areas.
