This article is from late 2015. Nevertheless, it is a good summary of the tremendous progress made by DSS since its inception. Since this article the Q23 has entered production and one of the first Mini's is flying on Welbourn foils. Some of the Vendee boats used foils partly based on the principles of DSS foils. The 100' CQS is using a version of DSS, a new dinghy is flying on Welbourn foils and a lot more is in the works:
