I see Flash still has four legs in the video, the right front leg is missing in the avatar, what happened . . . ? ?

Flash looks like a very nice dog with regard to appearance and behavior, external appearance looks like the male Saarloos Wolfdog in these pictures . . .

I was looking for a single red-brown one, but only couples showed up . . ;)

I'm sure Flash isn't a Saarloos Wolfdog, he behaves differently in the video, what breed or from what breeds is he . . ? ?

    P.S. - Just found a picture of a single red-brown Saarloos Wolfdog female . . .

Found a big version of the avatar . . .
Was it also the Cancer that caused the right front leg was lost . . ? ?

    Hi Angelique

    Thanks for your kind comments.
Flash started to limp and the vet who is a friend found a cancer growth in his leg joint so we chopped Flashes leg off.
Unfortunately the cancer spread to his lungs and eventually died in my arms.
I stayed single till I was 40 years old because of the recluse life style living alone with a dog for company which I have always had a dog since 4 years old , when Flash died I decided to get a wife for company.
I told my wife I will treat our future children like dogs, I kept my word and treat my two sons like I would my dog, which is with the utmost love and respect.

The boatdesign link below shows what I believe caused Flashes cancer, as when I was building a Myark folding trailer barge, Flash would swim in the toxic river meters away from the back of the work shop.

Flash was a whippet, mastiff crossed with cattle dog

Thanks for the info, sad what happened to Flash . . :(

This is a nice thread to post the picture of you two together on a Myark folding trailer barge under construction...

Good for a lot of hybrid vigor, but alas that's not enough to stand up to toxic waste . . :(

Well, Flash is at the stool behind the drawing board, so the Myark folding trailer barge could be his design . . ;)

The Myark folding trailer barge idea was designed for Flash and I to retreat into the wilderness to further the recluse lifestyle, sadly dogs do not live long.
Flash was part of my soul so you could say he was part designer of the Myark folding trailer barges and 100% shared the venture.
