Does additive exist that makes cured epoxy more flexible?

    About that "soaking into Kevlar" part: if you are laminating Kevlar onto the existing structure and bonding something else to the existing structure, you might benefit from treating those as two separate operations. Laminating might be best done with unfilled epoxy and bonding with milled fiber and silica filler.

    OTOH, I may be misunderstanding your post. How about a few more details?
