I'm in the process of building a GlennL sled. It's right at 19' long, 6' bottom and 8' gunwale. Powered by a SBC 283 and a Berkeley pump from a donor 15' glass tri hull I picked up. They're both rebuilt, but the donor boat is long past it's usefulness as a boat.

I'm going to move the engine forward some in the sled so there is nothing across the back to hinder fishing. I was going to make a center console behind the motor but had another thought. Can you tiller steer the Berkeley efficiently? I thought of using a tiler arm to steer and have a twist throttle and FNR like an outboard does. Dual control stations would be really cool!

    Thanks for looking. Chris
