dougless fur for stringers and ribs

    hi im currently designing a catamaran and am not to sure if dougless fur would be suitable to replace ply bulk boards (ribs) :?: any help would be great

    Caldera Boats Beer4Ballast......

    Clear verticle grain (CVG) Dougless fir is a very good boat building wood.
