Order a design of small water craft.

    Scope of the project:
    - Design a semi-V hull - Length 7.5 feet
    - Hydrostatics and stability analysis
    - Speed / power analysis and optimization (planning hull Savitsky prediction)
    - Weight / cost tracking
    - The strength and construction of the hull and deck
    - Materials and lamination technology

Ultimately, we want to get a complete detailed design of the hull and deck meet predefined specifications.

7.5 feet? Is that an error?

Is this a model, a real boat, or a dinghy joke.

My guess (only a guess) is the length should have been listed as 7.5 meters.

I called boats semi-v where they get less pointy and more rounded/more flat for the back running surface.

It sounds like 'modified v' or the older term, 'warped bottom'. As opposed to a 'constant V', constant deadrise, monohedron, or prismatic hull form.

    Chapman Piloting uses "modifed v"
"The modified V has a deep V in the front and tapers off to a shallow V in the stern"
