Design challenge: truck capable barge from Lowe's

    Whatever the ultimate design, flood stage isn't the time to run the river.

    I reckon.

    In Randall's situation I wouldn't strictly use Lowe's. Mostly milled lumber from gathered trees, I think.

    I agree. I would also cut it thicker. 1 and a half inches would be too weak.
