    Several years have passed .

The " Wander Fin " did correct the constant oscillating of 22 degrees to port then 22 degrees to starboard no matter what was changed.

    All engineers.

Guess what side effect has resulted ????

The steering has a constant 22 degree offset from straight ahead. Coincidence ? Mother Nature still rules the seas.

That is the result of the swirling prop blast being straigtned by the Wander Fin.

It also removes a lot of the prop walking when in reverse during docking.

Was the steering wandering at all speeds? What is the top speed now compared to before?

What is the angle of the outboard/outdrive relative to centerline of the boat when the boat is going straight ahead?

It was with no touching of the wheel on any slow non planning speed. No wander as soon as the bow started to lift or at full plane speeds. Same WOT.

My error in describing. The steering wheel is offset 22 degrees to port. The same amount as the maximum port bow swing was before. Really odd but very related to me.
