Does anybody know, or have any advice about where to find a good boat design program?

Is it necessary to become a Naval Architect to realistically have a chance at making a career in sailboat design?

Please, any information will be greatly appreciated...

    Thank you,

    Seth

    Seth,

    Well Seth...

In that case I suggest that you start looking trough the Education forum.
There you'll find links to different schools all over the world, and questions similar to the one you are askin here.

Look through the info and then ask questions and I' sure you'll get some intelligent answers.

    Look here as well:

If you need to bee an NA to design sailboats...?

Not necessarily, but you need to know a lot of what a degreed NA knows.
And then there is the issue of HOW you define NA...
That has also been discussed a lot in the education forum
