Dealing with pirates

Take out what you want to take out. Tear the place up and then when you have out what you want then nuke it. As long as you pamper them they are going to have you by the balls. The whole approach to the story is way too soft, that is why it gets worse and worse. At this trend pretty soon you'll be hiring your own ships from them.

Offer them a huge amount of money and pay it to get the stuff and people out of there. Before they can abuse the funding wipe them out and reprint the same money. It's only the cost of the printing and paper. Can't go cheaper than that.

Well ah - the American NSSC has shown themselves to be career hill climbers lately - I just hope the current Government is responsible for same - I cannot see old Bush - 'Blinky Eye' - getting things done within a calendar week...

As I and many other ignorant ranters may bash the USA - the upper tier career soldiers of same - are the best trained killers that I am glad to have - at some distance - on my team...

And then there are the Israelis...

I am personally happy that the NS took out those Somali Pirate - foreheads...

Seems to be a going on about clearing out the 'idiot threads' - I like idiot threads - but - to a point - very hard to stamp an idiot onto a wall and divide his height by 10 - and then decide what is accectable by percentage - I say we do it like shooting clays - 10 pulls - 7 kills - or you just suck - into the volcano with your lame ***...

Ah the Israeli's. Name one incident where anyone got away with any of their stuff. They just go in and take their own back, irrelvant of the condition they leave the place behind in. Good attitude. No one fcuks with them.

Wow korberts, do you expect anyone here to read pirates their miranda rights? This subject allows those of us who are angry about the slaughter of innocent seaman to rant and rave thus reducing our anger. It also allows some like me who know a little bit about opps to make guesses of what the civilized nations of the world are going to do to eliminate the problem. If you are offended then don't read these subject postings but don't judge the posters or condeme them. I'm a nice guy and go out of my way to help others. However, there are certain others I would shoot on site as they would try to kill me.

I thought this was a serious discussion about piracy, not an NRA/redneck turkey shoot.

If I was out there and saw pirates trying to take over a ship, I would almost certainly use whatever weapons I had to fight them off. As I said earlier, the situation with the American boat captain, I think I would have squeezed off a round or 3 there too. I'm not a total pacifist.

However, I do believe in making sure the guys you're shooting at really are pirates.

I DO NOT buy into the "kill them all and let God sort them out" philosophy. That's exactly the sort of thing that starts a holy war. Aren't there enough of those already?

Most of those on land who support the pirates over there are not there because they decided to be pirates when they were kids the way we decide to be doctors or firemen. They're doing it because it's the only way they can get food in a place where there has been no government protection or regulation for decades. There are college-age adults over there who have never known a credible government, who probably can't even imagine how one could work.

Going in and just shooting everything that moves is called genocide. It might go over well in the movies, but it's not a realistic approach.
