Umm, although they may want us to all be card holding turban heads as much as "some" on this forum would want us to be christians. I don't recall "avoiding the risk of world domination and conversions to another religion" as being cited as the reason for the military action.

I can understand how you all can be totally confused with Muslims.

Most of you think Twin towers,---and hijacks well there is a massive gap between those and most others. I cant explain how or why but believe this I live amongst them, and they are no trouble at all.

I have thought very hard about what I shall say next.

I would rather live amongs these people than my own violent, old lady mugging, football hooligans vandalls.

Women dress normally and love their fashion clothes. No one wears a burka here. They are gentle, very mild and totally unconfontational. Infact confrontation is one of there problems, they allow themselves to be bullied by Westerners.

There are girls here serve behind the bar and love to have a chat and a giggle. Althouh they dont drink they dont mind me doing so--not a problem.

Some times I have gone to there aid in some circumstances Germans and Americans in paricular who seem to have a axe to grind with a 22year old receptionist about pork,--- JEEES like maniac Rotwielers they go on and on untill they make them cry. Bullies.

Then they give complimenary BBQ for the yachties-- the bullies go too.

 

When You live out of the normal habitat and immersed in other culture , you learn accepting other form ways of life is not forcing oneself to throw away one belief but to hug the world.

Wonder why no one convert birds or fish but only human?

One doesnt have to throw away your own beliefs. One can, and indeed should be capable of understanding more than just one!!!

Don't confuse radicals with a people as a whole.. The Irish were also bombers at one stage in the past and they're not Muslim.
Every cluture has it's extemists. I don't like any of them be they groups on a religious crusade or rednecks in KKK outfits.
There are components of other culteral styles which would not suit me so I would not live there but that's not the same thing.
