There were wars before there were Christians and Christians were attacked long before they fought back.

It was king Constantine who kept loosing wars so he said to his generals "why do I loose wars " they said because our troops are split with religion and we cant get harmony and courage, all the things an army needs.

Right then says King C I want one religion by Friday night and Im serious.

Christianity came out on top and Sunday became the sabbath because King C played golf that day.

Henry the 8th made "church of England" and split it from the Catholics.

    Seen the movie "Elizebeth"

And my Great uncle Tom went to Canada in 1900 to teach Christianity to the Mohicans ( told you that before).

I have picture of him in a big boiling pot, he still has his pipe in his mouth and his pith helmet on.
He never came home, we think they ate him.

King Constantine did not create Christianity. You need to research this.

Actually, Jesus told Peter(rock) that he was the rock upon which Jesus would build His church. Therefore Jesus built Christianity out of Judaism.

The Father in heaven gave Peter the answer to our Lord’s question, “Who do you say that I am?” Jesus immediately changed Simon’s name to Peter (Rock), made him the rock upon which He would build His Church, and gave him the keys to the kingdom. Peter later denied Jesus three times, wept uncontrollably when he recognized his cowardice, but, ultimately, suffered and died for his faith in Christ.

from the Catholic version. I am not a Catholic but this is close enough to what I believe.:http://www.catholicchristians.com/CatholicTeaching/teaching21/FaithChat_21_FinalLine.pdf
