Most of the pictures that I have seen of this "hull" are in salvage yards or in the weeds some place. Why?
I own one, and I got it out of a salvage yard. What is the problem with this hull?
Where are the hull numbers? Were they all 312 Y blocks with V drives? Didn't some one in the company or family keep records? If they did, what is the secert?
Why don't they return phone calls from people that are interested in the history of this great boat and want to restore them.

I don't know if you saw the other posts about this boat. It was in a salvage yard full of junk, batteries, oil and water. The floor and stringers are totaly rotted out. The hull has a few chinks in it, but nothing major.
I had posts in ************s and goldenstateglassics.
Some one pulled the heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, starter, gas tank, all that is left is a rusted up short block. I have 2 complete marine 312 Y blocks, including transmittion, that are " supposed " to be low hours??
The transmition, V-drive, shaft and prop and rudder are there.The shafts turn
There is NO TITLE ON THE BOAT. The last time it was titled was in California.
I have the title, in my name, for the trailer.
I'll be out of town this weekend. I'll have a laptop, but I can't send pictures from it. There are more pictures on the other posts.

New to boats

Hello. I just acquired a '56 Barracuda 20' Glass boat. It is missing a lot of parts, but has been stripped and refinished, and I am trying to decide if I should put a motor and drive in it and have some fun, or sell it to someone who will restore it.
It has no drive-line, windshield posts, gauge panel, and the Barracuda dash plaque is gone. The parts are GONE. The steering linkage has been rebuilt and installed, and the prop and shaft are in. I have pics of the old owners progress. It is much nicer than the pis seem. There is vinyl glued on the forward deck area that has not been trimmed yet. This is my first boat. I have built dozens of hot-rod cars. Any advice?

Only the base of the windshield frame is there, with the rubber. It's a shame because it was complete when the other guy got it. I've decided to sell it as-is. Any interest??

Hi everyone, we still have our 73 DANARENA 21' cuddy cabin. i have had to modifiy a few things, but I love that damn boat! Now even more. Afew weeks ago my boss and I are working in SanRafeal and at lunch check out this marine /boat shop. Pretty cool boats are displayed inside (sailboat stuff though) any way after we leave my boss says "I got you a card from there maybe they can order your part." i take it and as we drive away i read the name Dan Arena on the card. Wow. I will have to go back when i am not working and say hello. I just wanted to say that when we got this boat it didnt have an engine and had been sitting along while. I breathed new life into this boat and after many hours,days etc. , we have a great boat! I want to know what the doors if any looked like on the cuddy, and i want to make a full enclousure as well. heres some pictures.

well hows everyone doing out there, well after about 4 years the guy who bought my boat came over and brought it back , he lost his house and didnt have anywhere for it!! i had made him promise me he would come tell me if he was going to sell it and he did ,!!!! yeah i have my boat back !!! how do u hug a boat!!!
