We move the Mast forward and, loading the lateral force of the wind on the leeward wave, we hide Mr. Munk under the rug.

Later sailing with big Waves ... the bow sinks, Mr. Munk goes crazy, gets very angry, and capsizes the sailboat.
 
In most cases the yacht does not capsize, because the waves are not huge, but the autopilot burns out or the sailor has a bad time instead of enjoying the waves and the functional beauty of a well-designed device.

Yes, but not all sailors go to high competitions, the majority of mortals sail with 10 square meters per Ton.

A very simple solution would be to move the centre of flotation forward with a wider, spoon-shaped bow and a slender stern

Good downwind behaviour is a sum of

good longitudinal hydrostatic balance

stable balance of lateral pressures, that is: the sum of the lateral forces of the hull, centreboard/keel and rudder must be aft of the yacht's centre of gravity

good attitude of the hull, either with high vertical pressure at the bow, or with low pressure, suction, at the stern or with a sum of high and low pressures
 
Induced drag Di is proportional to squared lift of each board
total lift L :
one board, Di=kL²
two identical boards providing half of the total lift each, Di'=k(L/2)²+k(L/2)²=kL²/2=Di/2
