I Whale

Hello everyone,

I am going to design a I whale under water vehicle, so in this regard can anyone suggest what size ballast tank and thrusters I can provide or any manufacturing company so that I can approach.

Whale size Length 3m
breadth 0.8m

In my opinion, the best is waterjet. This prevents rotation with respect to the longitudinal axis produced by a conventional propeller. Two coaxial propellers counter-rotating could also be a solution.
The ballast, if you need to put some, would be imprudent to define it with the data you have provided us.

Probably has the same problem since, after all, it is a conventional propeller but with a nozzle.

 

Perhaps. But divers don't like rotation either. (spinney divers can be a challenge)
He may need two for a 3m 'whale' so that could offset torsion/rotation.
Or, if he had 4, (2 each end) they could be used for steering/attitude control

I am looking at the links provided and i got some information so basing on that I am moving forward. I am still confused whether to go with jet propulsion or not.

 

Do not hesitate for a minute, I have experience in the subject. Select jet propulsion.
