    Hello all,
I'm curious about what smaller in length(under 30 ft) heavy discplacment sailboats are currently in production. Something full keel with a fiberglass hull.
I think you can still have a dana 24 made new if I'm not mistaken. Unsure of what one would cost though. Are there any smaller companies still building small "big" sailing cruisers?

Do you mean heavy construction and narrow beam boats?

I can't think of many full keel boats under 30 feet. The Flicka comes to mind, but they are out of production.

It sounds like you are looking for a bluewater cruiser under 30 feet and you want new. Does it have to be full keel? Most current production boats of any size today are fin keels. That would open up the list considerably.

I cannot think of any long keel fibreglass boats under 30' in production - some might be available to order on a custom 'one off' basis, but the cost would be eye watering eexpensive.
Morris Yachts used to build 26', 28' and 30' long keel cruisers designed by Chuck Paine, such as Frances, Carol, Leigh and Annie -

But they seem to now be more concentrating on building a range of fin keel 'day sailers'.
Although I am sure that they would not say no if you asked them to build Chuck Paine's Annie II -

More realistically, one reason why these type of boats are not being built on a production basis is that there are SO many very good second hand long keel cruising yachts under 30' available for sale - do a search on Yachtworld for Albergs, Babas, Bayfields, Bristols, Cape Dorys, Contessa 26, Invicta 26, Nicholson 26, Twister 28, Rustler 31, Island Packets (they built a few under 30'), Pearsons, Willards, Westsails........... can anybody suggest any others?

Morris was acquired by Hinckley in 2018, and production of Morris sailboats has been integrated with Hinckley's powerboat production.
