What Race Boat Is This

    SuperPiper Men With Little Boats . .

    I took this photo from a very long distance while sailing to Grand Bahama from Fort Lauderdale on December 02. It's been cropped to eliminate a lot of horizon and to bring it up close.

    Does anyone recognize this boat on the ship? Would it have been coming for the Key West Race Week? Rescued from an offshore race? Purchased and being delivered?

    SuperPiper Men With Little Boats . .

    The Maxi 72s landed in West Palm Beach and in Fort Lauderdale, prior to Key West. There were only 4 boats in the M72 fleet, so that narrows the field.

    Belle Mente was reported to be in Florida in October. So that leaves one of three: Caol Ila, Proteus, or JETHOU. And, Caol Ila has a white hull.
